Ukraine soldier"Oleg" Tries Short Track Racing
Thunder Hill Raceway opened yesterday for practice "test and tune" sessions. They hosted six members of the military from the Ukraine, currently stationed at Lackland AFB, and their (female) sponsor. For a real treat they let Oleg take a few solo laps around the 3/8 mile oval.
They were all a little apprehensive following this and this; but after the track time it was all smiles. Very cool to spend time with them doing regular All-American type things.
